The new Kiel Sport enriches the characteristic DNA of our pilot watch chronographs with a sporty accent. In contrast to the classic Kiel models, the Kiel Sport features a unidirectional rotating bezel. Nonetheless, with its unmistakably striking design and high functionality, the Kiel Sport reflects the enduring connection between Laco and aviation that has lasted for more than 80 years.

Crafted in our manufacture by experienced watchmakers, the Kiel Sport combines dynamic elegance with functional sophistication. With its 43 mm case, the Laco 500 chronograph movement, and a particularly striking design, it excels both in daily wear and during outdoor activities. It captivates not only pilots but also anyone who appreciates the extraordinary.

The authentic pilot watch aesthetic is unmistakably displayed on the dial, deliberately kept in matte black to avoid reflections and ensure quick, glare-free readability from every angle.

High-quality stainless steel – sandblasted

The 43 millimeter case, which is pressure-tested up to 10 ATM, is crafted from high-quality stainless steel and mattified with a striking dark sandblasting. This type of surface finishing not only gives it a monochromatic appearance but also bridges the gap to other Laco pilot watches that share this distinctive feature.

Rotating bezel with 60-clicks

The bezel of the Kiel Sport stands out for its particularly grippy design, allowing effortless operation even when wearing gloves. With its unidirectional rotation and precise 60-click mechanism, it serves not only as a sporty design element but also as a technical feature. For exceptional functionality and unmatched durability, the insert is made of high-quality ceramic, offering numerous advantages including exceptional hardness and scratch resistance, color stability, and corrosion resistance.

A homage to the finest craftmanship

Inside, elegantly nestled behind a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback, the automatic chronograph caliber Laco 500 reliably performs its duties. The movement is based on the renowned Swiss caliber Sellita SW500, available in either the Elaboré or Top quality grades. In addition to the classic chronograph functions, it also displays the day of the week and the date. A full winding of the Laco 500 ensures an impressive power reserve of 56 hours.

Optimally readable – day and night

The bright indices, Arabic numerals, and the hands, with those for hours and minutes thermally blued, create clear contrasts under the anti-reflective sapphire crystal and harmoniously integrate into the Tricompax design. For optimal readability even in adverse lighting conditions, there is generous coating of intensely luminous Superluminova C3 on the hands, numerals, indices, and the pilot's triangle. This ensures outstanding readability even in darkness – an essential criterion for precise timekeeping. The minute scale of the unidirectional rotating bezel is also coated with this luminescent substance, emitting a greenish glow in darkness.

Supreme wearing comfort – aesthetic and timeless

The Kiel Sport combines authentic pilot watch aesthetics with high-quality material selection, as seen in the timeless black calf leather strap with contrasting light stitching. The soft leather provides comfortable wear and harmoniously underscores the sporty elegance of the watch. A dark sandblasted buckle, echoing the matte finish of the case, secures the strap.
