The Red Dot jury made its choice: The "Frankfurt GMT" pilot watch emerged as a victor in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020, receiving a Red Dot for its excellent design. The Laco watchmaking company has won its first award in the world´s most prestigious design competition.

Expert assessment of the huge range of products in the design field is made possible by sub-dividing the Red Dot Design Award into three categories - Red Dot Award: Product Design, Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design and Red Dot Award: Design Concept. The Red Dot Award is one of the biggest design contests worldwide, with more than 18,000 submissions.

The second time zone can be displayed by the 24-hour hand and the inner rotating bezel. This rotating bezel is ball bearing mounted and can be adjusted quickly, precisely and safely with a second crown.
